Yes report it. I got three busted last year, called on another guy this year but warden was making a bust at the time and couldn't come get this guy. But i tried.

I saw some Mexican dude keep a bucketful of small fish. Was going to call the warden but his small son was with him. Didn't want him arrested in front of his kid.

There's degrees of bad behavior. I see stuff like that and just shake my head and look the other way. Cast nets and gill nets are another thing altogether.

Hello all, new here to the forum, and to the area in general. Came across this forum after searching for a good place to do some bank fishing. Made it out to the creek today from about 11-1:30. Didn't have the right gear, too heavy line, not the right lures, etc. Managed to catch one undersized hybrid, which I threw back of course after verifying it was a hybrid with one of the guys down a little ways from me. Not sure if any of you were there, I was the guy with the light green striped shirt, and the camo backpack. I am going back again tomorrow, just need to spool the reel with some 4lb fluoro and pick up some Lit'l Fishies before I head out and a few flukes. I am open to any tips any of you may have if you see me. I am just trying to catch enough for the family, not out to catch limits.

Edit: Just a warning, saw police pulling people over for speeding right there in front of the gravel parking area. There was someone pulled over when I got there, and someone pulled over when I left. I guess they are getting people for the double fine due to the construction, so be careful.

Welcome to the forum dough head . Try rooster tail and if you willing to put in the leg work. People are catching some down further toward the mouth. Good luck to ya !

Was that on Friday? I was there and saw the same thing but decided otherwise. Just started giving him the fish I was catching so he didn't need to keep the little ones.

Just got back from the creek, got there at 10:30, stayed till 1:30. Fishing was really slow for everyone. A couple guys who had gotten there early with a few, a couple guys with a few channel cats, not much else. I tried all up and down the bank from NT12 to where the two join back up using 1/8 ounce white rooster tails, black and white Lit'l Fishies 2.5", small flukes, etc. on 4lb. flurocarbon, no bites. Saw a lot of fish breaking the top of the water, but that was about it. I had the camo hat on, camo backpack, and black tee shirt if any of you were there.

Creek hybrids are fun on light tackle!! small swim baits and pink jig heads!!!
