My neighbor told me tonight that he had heard that there is some pipe or something going to Springtown that needs repair and to do that they will have to drop EM down to 13' low. Hope this is not true and that would eliminate every launch site on the lake.

The bites been reasonable the last 3 days since we've added about 15" of water. Have caught some of the typical 1-2 lbers. but have mixed in a 6.11 and a 4.6. No monsters but a lot of fun. The 6.11 looked like she had swallowed an orange.

I wouldn't put much belief in that, as of yesterday they were still pumping water into em.

A friend of mine said he got a letter stating that they are gonna drop the lake 20ft to put a oil/gas pipe line across. sounds like lake worth will get full again.

Have heard the Springtown pump rumor and a couple others. From what I understand is the pipe from Cedar Creek will run until June. Then it will be shut off. From what I understand is the lake will not be dropped.

Funny is how these company's can run pipes in any lake or ocean but now you hear that they want to drop the water level in a lake to put pipe through it? Our technology in todays world says no you don't have to drop the water levels.

Contact Tarrant Regional Water District in FW. they are the ones that control te water flow from Richland chambers upto Bridgeport (EM being one of the lakes) they can tell you the truth. they also have an app that you can download for your smart phone that gives the current lake levels on all of the lakes they control.

If they are going to drop the lake do it during the winter and work on the pipe then.
Not during the springtime when we get most of the rain.
