I can fish so much better listening to music. My focus is better

Thanks,

I Love me some good music, but not when I'm FISHING ! ! ! I focus on everything out there ! If I want to hear music I go to a concert. Never shell the twain meet. He He

I like music. I like drinking beer. I almost never do either while I'm fishing. For me the point of being out there is to enjoy the experience of not having distractions. The next cast, the next bite, and the hope that the next fish might be the big one are all the entertainment I need.

No music, just weather radio. Otherwise, it's just hearing calm, quiet nature and enjoying the day. But, if weather is coming - I want to know
God Bless

i constantly fish with music. At the lake we always a speaker or something or at the ponds I always have my head phones. It helps you stay up when the fishing is slow

I installed a radio and speakers in my boat against lots of advise from others. In the end, MY boat MY rules. You wanta pay the bills, you can make the rules.

I like to listen to music while I fish and moving from spot to spot. Now in saying that, I keep the volume down so that I can hear it but not bother anyone else around me. People tell me that it scares the fish away, I tell them that just makes it fair for me to fish with them. I'm in my mid 40's.

Nothing makes me more upset on the water than this. People can't go anywhere today without having to have music

I prefer the silence as it makes it easier to hear the voices in my head as they constantly second guess me. I'm 58 and yes I remember 8 track tapes and AM only radio. The wake boats are the ones I find annoying, they blast their music going down the lake with a boatload of people making all kinds of noise. I guess that's what I like about Lake Fork, no wake boats and very seldom see a jet ski.

Depends on what I am doing but I'll turn on some music and keep the volume low enough it's only heard on my boat. Still catch plenty of fish with the music playing. I'm forty and have listened to nature enough in my younger days.

I too am 58 and the "voices in my head" really hit home with me. I prefer absolute silence. Heck I don't even like to hear outboards in the background. My bro in law and I were at Toledo Bend last week and her turned to me and said " the noise of all these boats running is driving me nuts" So maybe I'm an extreme example of a silence lover, but as someone posted earlier, nature gives lots of audio clues.

Talk radio for me, 590 KLBJ, Mark Ed and SGT Sam, Todd and Don, Jeff Ward, Retire Ready, Mutual Fund Show, Money Matters, hell I'll even listen to Gardening Naturally! Nice and low and only if I'm not flipping or pitching close to the boat.
