You can't see it real well. This was taken from the bank of the Guadalupe looking down into a area that was covered with water last week. When the water receded at least 14 cats was caught in a small pool that also receded. When I saw it today there was around 40 buzzards having a feast and nothing but heads left. By the head size I would guess most were 2 pounders.

My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

The catfish are distinguishable, very cool picture. I have occasionaly seen this kind of ordeal after we get heavy rains, fish get trapped when the water recedes just like you stated.
