How about the east fork of the lake? Saw some nice creeks and pockets in google earth in that area.

If you were in a Ranger or Triton or Skeeter or just something other than a Bass Cat I would say not to worry.

I'm gonna have to see the video of someone making the run from the Pavilion to Five Fingers in true 30 mph winds...in any kind of watercraft short of a PT boat...and being "dry and comfortable".

I will have to agree with you on that one. These posts about Rayburn get relatively stupid relatively quick.. Hell i might launch at the "Firetower Ramp" this time around.... On a serious note, I did have to wait 20 minutes to launch at Preachers Saturday.... High Schoolers had it jam packed..

Not sure if you are using the ramp in the Twin Dykes campground or the one by Umphrey. The one at Umphrey is much better in all winds!
Not right now it aint that ramp was so ruff Thursday with the high water it was crazy.

I'm thinking Bass Cat may allow trailering. I hope they do.

Although it is still easier to run in that wind then Toledo is. I like the Fork guys talk about how that lake is in high wind hell it dont have nothing on Rayburn and Toledo.
