Fished Dunlap for the 1st time this spring, today from 8:00 till about 1:30. Water temp was 71 degrees, which I did not expect...thought it would still be mid 60s. Overcast all morning and wind light. Used nightcrawlers fished on the bottom. Caught tons on various SMALL sunfish for the 1st 2 hours. After that found my target species (redear) and got 3 pretty good ones. Also ended up with 1 nice bass, 2 channel cats, and pretty good rio grande. See Photo ...

Some super good eating right there.  Nice haul. Good job.  Side Note: How was the water clarity?

Water clarity was about normal...probably could see down to around 3 feet or so, and there seemed to be a little more current than I remember from last fall.

Water clarity was about normal...probably could see down to around 3 feet or so, and there seemed to be a little more current than I remember from last fall. Thanks! I fished Dunlap last Friday and the water was still a little muddy.
