OP Ranger7 Outdoorsman R Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 179	Hello, does anyone know any good spots in Grpaevine area to catch good eating size perch? I know a creek by my house that has some but I wouldn't anything out of that LOL. Also, does anyone eat those little suckers? LOL

There have been several excellent post last year on cooking Bluegill/Sunfish including recipes. I have eaten my share of Bluegill and Redear and they are very hard to beat. As for the Grapevine area I have never fished there. I can tell you that the Sunfish are fixing to spawn just my guess it will be the first full moon in April. The fish will be very active. Sunfish will stay active from now until next winter. They love to hang around docks,brush piles,stick ups,overhanging tree limbs,and huge rocks. Live Night Crawlers are the best bait to catch em. Hopefully someone that fishes in your area can give you some exact spots to catch em. You should have no problems at all finding em. Sunfish are in just about every type of water body.
