It was a great week on Fork and we are now starting our second week of spring! Bass have a few things on their mind but #1 is making babies for everyone to enjoy catching for years to come! The weather has been the biggest factor as of late with lows dipping down into the low-mid 40s causing bass to push off their beds. I have watched several big females push up in the late afternoon only to go back at daylight and she is gone. That is highly uncommon with water temps only being in the low-mid 60s. I have seen water temperatures as high as 72 this week. I have been Sightfishing from 8-4 everyday then heading back out looking for more for the next days trip. Water clarity is starting to clear making it much easier to see the beds & bass. For folks that don't like looking at the you can catch them on wacky worms fished near folded grass, pitching dropshots, plastics or jigs in 6-12', Alabama rigs, swim baits and jerkbaits fished in the same depth ranges. Don't be surprised if you get a few topwater bites when that water starts stabilizing at 65, yellow magics are the best option with some being caught on frogs in the freshly flooded grasses already. I'm now booking June so please get with me quickly if your interested in a great trip on Fork where you will be educated on all things bass, laugh and catch some great fish with any cast having the possibility of being that fish of a lifetime!

Here's the weather forecast for this week

Here's the current lake level chart, we are currently sitting at 400.04

Here are a few big fish from this past week
