Hurry up and wait !!!!!! That seems to be the trend this year. Fish are still staging in main channels suspended in groups of 2..3...5 and so on. The males are looking to build nests But I show no signs a beat up tales and underbelly's. The fish are suspended one layer being at 12 feet. another at six and seven and YET another in 18 Feet of water. There ready! Sumtin's still got's them's spooked ! ( 4 Ketchen) Stand by it won't be long now.... Ck
www.TheCrappieKing.comThe following is an Email that I recently received from a new client. Octavio Garza To me Mar 26 at 9:10 PM I found Greg The Crappie King Culverhouse through a google search and decided to take my two sons ages 7 and 10 on a half-day trip. The experience was absolutely fantastic! Greg was wonderful with the boys and brought a lot of excitement to the trip even before we were close to the water. His passion for fishing is contagious!! He also paid attention to detail and was dead-on in pointing out where the fish were. He also had extra rods ready and loaded with bait when my boys either landed a fish or snagged a line. They never missed a beat and kept fishing constantly because of Gregs forward thinking approach to making sure they had a good time. When things slowed down in one area we were off to check out another favorite location. When the crappie slowed we headed up the Bosque River for White Bass and my boys thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride. We slowed to troll and bam!, more hits. We pulled over in one area of the river after he spotted a cloud of fish on his sonar and landed another. Lastly, Greg knows no stranger on the lake. He slowed with every passerby and wished all good luck. He exemplified sportsmanship in slowing the boat when near other boaters or bank fisherman. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable experience and Greg is an exceptional guide and service provider. I highly recommend The Crappie King and we will definitely seek his services again. Thank you Greg!

FANTASTIC memories that will last a lifetime.. !!!! Im hoping they will be shallow in the south soon, im fishing every friday until nirvana happens ,, lol
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I can vouch, Greg is a super person, willing to help those not so experienced. Thanks Greg I met you at your seminar in Cabelas, bought some secret bait. Still waiting for that special spot. Will report when i can get there.

one day soon we have to have a little pow wow in waco and all get to know each other. maybe meet at one of the parks and have a little cookout or something. or maybe potluck style ,everybody bring something and we can eat, fellowship then all go fish. Maybe throw a few dollars in a pot and biggest fish caught wins. Just something to do.

Hardest I've fished in weeks, only caught 6. Pulled a decent bass in at RCC, but the crappie weren't there. Checked a few piles on the south side. Minnows still beat the jigs. Wish the weather would make up its mind.

the temps are a lil warmer this year than they were last year. Im betting after these storms this week and the water gets a little more tinge to it, and rich with oxygen things should get going. full moon coming too/.
