The title says it all. Water was 58degrees in the AM and warmed up to about 62 in the afternoon. We were not the only boat to fail at catching fish. Also, water very muddy and lake very full

Big Creek is a mystery to me....is there any vegetation growing...heard it went almost dry over the last few years. In the past, when bass fishing, it was feast or famine.

I have not seen good vegetation in a few years. I miss the days when there were lilly pad fields.

Sabine should bring them back in..Lots of pepper grass, some coon tail i remember..I think water clarity works against the hydrilla until a good amount grows back in from being at full pool..Im quite amazed by the speed of the watershed fill up.Makes you wonder about the conservation..How is the bait gents?
