Has anybody been out to Lavon since our spew of rain lately? is it accessible by ramp now? Has anybody had luck out there recently?

Most of the ramps are open. I stopped at Mallard Park last week and it was open. The lake looks good and is about 5 ft low. It was 12+ low back in January.

It's gone up quite a bit from where it was. Little Ridge and a few others are open.

Yes. Plenty of ramps open now. The fishing has been off ever since the water came up. I know the lake fairly well, and I've zero' the last two times I've been out. I'm assuming this warmer weather may turn things around but that influx of water, snow and freezing rain really must have sent the fish down deep. Good luck if you go, but I wouldn't go out there with any expectations of catching a bunch of spring time bass just yet

Tried multiple things today. Not a a bite! Lots of gar spawning in the flooded brush though so they gotta be there as well.

Lavon is tough right now im sure, flooded cover around creek channels (willows) rocks around the tressle, the damn, around that small pump station that fronts the marina east of Collin park..Not sure if any water in that marina..Im guessing as have not been on water there in a while..I know some fattys have come out of Collin park around the docks, and cover on the backside..Good luck..
