One of my talons won't go down or up. It just steady beeps when the up button is pressed and when the down button is pressed it just cycles but doesn't engage. Dealer said wash it out. Yall got any better answers. FYI I did [censored] on it and it didn't help lol.

Mine did this but I could hear the cable slapping around inside it. Needless to say, the cable had come loose and after I got done trying to fix it, let's just say it never was the same again.

I've taken mine to G&S trolling motor in Houston on 2 occasions and they fixed mine in about a day. I've had mine 3 years and had a similar problem twice. 1st time it was fixed for free on warranty. Second time there was a nominal charge, can't remember the exact amount but it wasn't much.

You may try turning the knob located just blow the top plastic cover with a ratchet. This may loosen it up if its stuck. If this doesnt work I dont know how far you are from Fort Worth, but Boris Marine can take care of you.

Go with Ferrell's suggestion. Just don't void that warranty. Them things are Brand new..

mine dont work everytime either but i think its the batteries in the remote cant hear them trying to move
