Not sure where I'm going fishing tomorrow - considering Bryson, Muenster, Crockett, Southlake but was wondering if anyone has been to any of the LBJ grassland lakes - Clear Lake, Black Lake or Cottonwood? They were so dry last year but was hoping they've filled back up with the recent rains.

Anyone headed to any of these destinations tomorrow? Trying to get a couple of my Gunter buds to join but they got baseball/basketball stuff with their kids going on.

I was there Labor Day and black creek lake and clear lake were full, fishing was decent. I wasn't in my yak, just from the bank. Someone on here was out their in his yak and said he caught a 9 lb LMB on clear lake.

My wife and I are going camping our there today and I am planning on taking my yak, so I hope they are. With all the rain and winter weather the last few weeks, I can't imagine they are not full. They were full in September after being basically dry all summer, from what I heard.

That's what I heard. I'm excited to get up there, although I'm sure it will be a zoo with the nice weather. Hopefully the lakes have held up.

Know of any bigguns that have been caught out if Black Creek Lake?

Dan's Pond was completely dried up the last I saw it. That was a good little Bass hole perfect for kayak fishing.

I heard some of the smaller ponds and lakes got so dry that there is no way fish survived. I think Adan's pond was one of them.
