All gates have been closed for about 2 weeks due to flooding on the Neches below Dam B.
They started generating yesterday. 12 hours for now and then move to 24 soon. Current should position bait as well as fish. It will also help to clear the lake.
The bass have alot of new cover to hide in and have been scattered and finicky. It should really improve over the next few days.

Better for the spawn than low water. Only major thing that could hurt spawn is rapidly falling water. The extra available cover is going to be awesome for shad, crappie, and perch fry too
