 New guy looking to fish.

I moved to Texas 3 years ago after I was discharge from the Navy and still haven't found a spot for crappie or bass in the mesquite area. Help me out guys...thanks

Are you bank fishing or boating?
Ray Hubbard is just right up I30 and has plenty of both bass and crappie.

Get on google earth and look for creeks that run our of Ray Hubbard there are several parks in Garland and mesquite nearby and trails that lead you next to these creeks and the lake, dont have names but you will find them on googl earth. Also go to the Pond & Bank Forum it might be of help
