Are you sure your line broke? Palomar knots with braid no bueno. The knot will slip. Double Palomar! No slippage. Cheers.

Zebra Mussels are likely fraying your line if your fishing around docks and other structure...
This is a factor

Are you sure your line broke? Palomar knots with braid no bueno. The knot will slip. Been using a palomar with braid since Kevlar came out with not a single problem! Just double it and it will not break at the knot if your tying properly to begin with. Never had it slip! That said everyone has their way to do things!

That's a double palomar, not a palomar

Use these on your rigs. Won't help the line problem but will dang sure help the hanging up problem...

Are you sure your line broke? Palomar knots with braid no bueno. The knot will slip. I've put serious pressure on a single palomar knot with 50 and 65 pound power pro and have never had one slip.

I tie and overhand knot on the tag end of the knot, never slipped, also you need to get a telescopic lure retriever if you going to throw 25.00 lures.
