either follow someone or idle. There is no boat lanes. There is no GPS routes. Most people run it by sight. Good luck. A boat width difference on some of the "lanes" could mean bad news. Be very careful especially since the lake came up a bit. Its in a bad spot IMO lake level wise.

When you reach hazard poles, idle only. There are some sections where the timber is low enough in the water column to run, but even then... Be careful! If in doubt, idle.

My advise if someone is needing to ask this question, does not need to try to run Roberts at that end of the lake.

Wolf island is where the poles start, I would idle only from there.

Once you damage a lower unit, your driving habits on lakes like that will change.

If u have to ask where to run you shouldn't even think about trying. Good luck out there. I'm sure someone during TTT will knock a stump or two

The poles are at the entrances to the creeks/coves. Wooden telephone poles across the entrances. Can't miss them. Depending on water level on the N.E. Side of Wolf, shut down before the island!!! Lots of shallow rock/foundations up in there.
On the west end of the lake, you can generally run main lake to the bridge. Same thing, don't blow past the poles. Watch the shallow sandbar near the point going back into Spring Creek.

Running that direction just north of Wolf Island (past the Jordan launch on east side for reference) there is a tree line (forest I call it) running east/west - there appears to be a small lane right in the middle but don't take that for granted - idle through it. There's a nice big ole stump just below surface in the middle. Hit it last Saturday at the HS tourney coming back from the 922 bridge area up Dubois creek arm.
