I'm looking for opinions on the Minn. Kota I pilot? Thinking of purchasing one.
Thanks

I have had one for about a year. I can't see me ever owing another boat without one. However, my next one will be an Ulterra.

I have a 80# thrust which requires 24 volts. I bought the mid size Interstate batteries and after four to five hours of run time they needs recharging. The Minn Kota will serve you well. Invest in good batteries and you will be a happy fisherman.

I just sold my 80# Terrova with i-pilot........ to buy a Ulterra with i-pilot. Most folks only use the spot lock or cruise control. I have tried most of the functions and have come to love the track record along with the cruise control. Like having my very own person in control of the trolling motor while I have nothing to do but fish. I don't see not having it anymore.
Life is one big playground. Be sure to ride all the rides before it closes.
