There is some great spring spawn fishing on Aquilla now... This is a 7-2... a skinny 7-2, it was already spawned out...  If you like sight fishing... it is the time now on Aquilla. There are some monsters being taken. You just have to find a spot where you can get a hook in the water... actually you will have to find a spot to park your rig...

Aquilla is a fun lake to fish with some good fish in it. It has not been restocked with Florida's since 85 so most likely that is a big ol native bass.

I agree. Good times at Aquilla lately. It doesn't even really matter what you fish with right now.
I scattered some Cheez-Itz across the top of the water and they were getting hits.
