Waded a couple spots, not one thump, guessing they haven't found all the new water yet. The carp have. Found them all bunched up And the gar, they were everywhere!

I figured they were there to spawn. Carp usually spawn in 68 degree water or warmer and are very hard to catch while into their spawning ritual. They will make a lot of noise by jumping out of the water and splashing in shallow areas. And YES they do suck Crappie eggs they are suckers.

I'm loving it with all of this sunlight and warmth. The water is warming up pretty quick. It should'nt be long now unless we get another cold snap or it come a turd floater.
If it has anything to do with fins, feathers, or fur im in

I'm loving these warm temps and sunlight. It shouldn't be long now before crappie start staging up for the spawn. I'm going out again on Saturday to see what's going on. Do any of Yall have any info. Have you heard of anyone catching? If so how deep? Jigs or minnows?
