Is Walnut Creek, on Eagle Mountain a good place to launch the kayaks and catch some sandies? I used to fish Denton Creek. But as most of you know there isn't enough water.
Thanks
Rick

Wow, you would think I was asking for some ones bank account number! I thought this site was to help each other out. I guess not. I used to give information any time I could help. I guess that's not what we are here for anymore. Later.

Hickory Creek isn't far. It's got sandies and hybrids.

Fish eat things. I'll put things in the water that fish like to eat. I'll attach these things to a hook, line, rod, and reel. How hard can this be?

I don't think anyone is holding out on you ...

I'm just not sure that there is a lot of experience here regarding Eagle Mtn in general or Walnut Creek specifically. I have been on here probably going on 5 years now, and can't remember more than a handful of posts on Eagle Mtn here in the kayak section. From memory, those that were were regarding a launch site on Indian Creek I think.

Now, you will find a lot of posts and info if you want to go downstream a bit and hit either the FW Nature Center or Lake Worth. But if you want info on Eagle Mtn, you will probably have to utilize some of the other sections on here and then apply that info to yak fishing.

Good Luck.
