On my Lake, get out of the boat and wade deep into the brush to catch them! We are still about 2 weeks out or more,
Probing brush for crappie is my game!

I'm thinking the spawn has been cancelled this year due to global warming!

They spawn in waves so water hits 58-60 or higher it is on, and that temp is on now. Just get out there and go fish.

Last week was a heck of a bite. The weekend went down, but it was back up last night. Everything we have cleaned has still been full, I'm not an expert but the eggs still seemed a little firm. If they are spawning right now, it's only a matter days before they are. Seems to me like it's a little late this year with the rain and nice winter we had. FYI, we checked bp's last night and caught nada.
