Got my limit with Carey... What a fantastic morning. There's a few guys in here as well that haven't fished the run or just want some guidance and I'll let you know, book with Carey when you can. We walked away with two limits and he truly knows his stuff well.

First time at Rowlett Creek for me in about 15 years. Brought my son trying to catch his first fish. I parked at the nature trail lot and walked down to NT12 I think and cut over to the creek. There were plenty of people there, didn't see too many fish being caught. We were only there from around 3-5:00 though. Mostly used white or black rooster tails and chartreuse triple tail grubs. Ended up stopping at a pond by the house and he caught this beauty! NT12 is where most of the action has been for us. Tried 9 and 15 with no luck. Had great luck at 12 two days in a row.

Anyone knows where to launch a kayak to the creek? I tried across the bridge on Rowlett rd the old kayak launch across the empty Marina but too many high brushes and pretty muddy. Any info would be helpful, thanks

I think I saw a guy yesterday launching a kayak at the creek mouth parked off the curb at the end of the rowlett Rd bridge.

...There were plenty of people there... And you may see a whole lot more now! I'm a newbie and I've gotten a lot of help from others, so I'm all for sharing information, especially over PM or on the water. But posting for everyone to see and being too exact can draw in plenty of folks who wouldn't normally put in the work to find these spots.
