Here's Lucky Craft's description: "New slow floater and shallower member of the Pointer Series
The latest model of Lucky Crafts tournament winning jerkbait series, the Flash Pointer, is a slow-sinking model designed to more effectively fish the critical 5 6 foot depth zone. Combining the benefits of the Pointer and Flash Minnow, this bait has great side-to-side action and slowly floats allowing it to be used in various shallower water situations."

So does it float or sink?

Flash pointer 115 MR or Flash Pointer 115 SP? I have a few of the Flash Pointer 115 SP's and they SLOWLY sink. Guess it depends on water temp though. None of them float though.

One of the retailers offered three versions: Slow sinking, suspending and fast sinking. Have not found a floater anywhere, which is what I'd love to have.

You might be able to tweak the suspending into a floater by using lighter hooks and line that is very buoyant (15lb Mean Green)
