west shoreline between 30 and 66 was 61 in places at 10 ft and the shoreline was absolutely Teaming with what I guess is spawning carp...they are in small groups in so shallow of water u can literally hear and see em splashing around from 100 yards out. Same thing up on the golf course. I done see any way a crappie would get in there and try to spawn with all that going on. No way!! I've never seen this happen that I can remember. 2ft to zero is literally teaming with big Carp. Please share. I didn't get a bite and looked both shallow and out to 10 ft and even 66 bridge our to 15. Nada with minnows too

I think you should report the carp to the game warden, Imagine, having sex out in the open and not even trying to hide it!!! They should be arrested!!!

I fished there as a kid. My grandparent are from Bowie county. Pretty lake. It was just really chaotic shallow today. If I were a crappie there's no way I'd be comfortable in there with what I saw going on

Saw the same thing Tuesday while fishing. Flagged down a bow fisherman on an airboat and pointed him in the right direction. He wasn't after carp but rather tilapia. He was kind enough to wash my face for me when he left.
To whom much is given, much is required.

Three years ago we wore the crappie out on roberts while the carp were carrying on like that, we were pulling crappie off of nearly any structure we could find in the creek while the carp were splashing right up against the bank. Haven't seen it like that since, lot more water in the creek then.

I fish rip rap on Lake Oologah in OK every spring. Gar and crappie spawn right amongst one another. Caught many a gar there...and the catfish are right there among them.

I saw the same on Waco today and we managed 15 keepers and about the same 9 inch fish. We also caught one of the Ugly carp fish and i lost at least a 5 lb black bass at the boats edge. We had a great trip, I will post pics when i get them from client. Ck www.TheCrappieKing.com

The carp and the Gar were doing the same thing at the old lewisville dam. I'm from WA State, only been here a year, so seeing that kinda show is new to me.
