I took my best friend, Karen, fishing today and boy did we find them!! We left her husband at home, working--poor Glen!! Karen had never fished with jigs before but she learned quickly. Crappie are up shallow, using light green jig. All of them were about the same size--about 1 1/2 pounds; a lot of big males. I have several trips coming up so I am glad I found them.






















Here is some good eating. Karen wanted to take some to her 90-year old parents so this should provide them several meals.
