Wally says the Hugo tournament is going to be in May but has not finalized the date as soon as it's set I'll let you guys know.

This is just a fun tourney. It is more for the kids than a high pressure tourney. Example of the fun is hourly big fish and smallest fish. It was at a beautiful Corp camp ground. A great event and Wally does a great job in promoting family ,outdoors and fishing.

Looking forward to this year...Wally does a great job, and the Township of Hugo are top notch at hosting...

May 16th. Hope the lake is not 10 foot high like last year. It's a real fun time especially for the kids.

In the local Hugo paper they said this is the biggest thing to happen in Hugo since Audie Murphy visited... :-)  Big, fun, family style event. EVERY kid gets something, usually an armful of stuff.

Aw, come on Keyboard, it was only 7 feet high with all gates wide open they said it would take 3 weeks to bring it back down to normal! I think the crappie were holding on to the trees to keep from getting sucked thru the gates.
