2nd day of my 4 day trip. Only 3 fish caught. Anyone doing good? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

Are you finding any clearer pools? Chatter bait? All else fails, above the grassy areas, 1oz jig and punch through with your favorite trailer. Maybe Rage Tail ?
Hope it turns for you ...
God Bless

I wouldn't throw a 1oz jig. Fish chatter baits, swim jigs, senkos, c-rigs in housen and 6mile 2-15ft deep around grass target patches of grass near creeks, points, ditches and the inside grass line

We really struggled last week. Water was cold and muddy in Patroon. Best bite was late afternoon. Thought it would be better by now.

We fished last Thursday - Saturday. Could have went Sunday morning but gave up. laugh

Successful things for us in a couple of spots. Very back of creeks/long drains in San Miguel. We found hydrilla and very slowly drug 1/2 ounce white/chart spinner baits through the hydrilla. Slow was the key so the spinner bait was down in the grass.

We went into Lowe's creek about 1/2 way back just past the water intake. Lots of hydrilla in the next pocket to the right. Wacky senko with a nail weight worked SLOW.

We saw some guys flipping a small crawfish style plastic against cedar trees and they caught a few.

All that fresh water coming into the lake has them turned off. I figured it would get better this week. Good luck with the rest of your trip.
