Do you guys have any pictures of how you rig your jigs and how you fish them. I usually just cast and retrieve a roadrunner but I want to get more astute at this crappie fishing thing.

I need some lessons in this as well. i have always used minnows to crappie fish but you can get slowed down when the bite is hot and you spend more time putting a minnow on the hook than it lasts in the water before a crappie eats it. I would like to do this with jigs so I can catch more fish. Any advice on rig setups?

Check out you tube for the Huckabee loop knot. Shows how to tie a sinlge jig or a double jig. Someone with more computer knowledge might post up a link.

Best set up I like is two jigs, about 18" to 2' apart. Just thread one on, pull off about 3' of line, put line together and wrap 3 times around 2 fingers, and put the jig through. Do the same with another jig on the end. My favorite combo is a 1/32 on top, 1/24 on bottom. Or 1/48 on top, 1/16 on bottom.

That is what I use. The Huckabee loop knot with 2 jigs, normally.
