Back by popular demand, Crappie Anglers of Texas will be holding the 2nd Annual Crappiefest on April 11, 2015 on Lake Fork.
-- This is a BIG CRAPPIE tournamenteach participant will weigh in one crappie only.
--The entry fees are $50 per person, and CAT is guaranteeing a minimum payout of at least $10,000!!!!
--There is no online registration for this tournament. You can sign up for this tournament:
(i) in person at a CAT meeting,
(ii) in person at The Minnow Bucket Pavilion on April 10, 2015 between 5pm and 6pm,
(iii) in person at The Minnow Bucket Pavilion on the day of the tournament between 6am and 7am,
(iv) by mailing in the entry form provided on the website.
--YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF CAT TO FISH IN THIS TOURNAMENT!
--Junior Anglers may fish in this tournament ONLY in a Special Junior Angler Division. There is no entry fee for junior anglers.
--There is no limit on the number of participants in a boat
--Participants may fish from the bank, a dock, a boat, canoes, kayaks, rubber rafts and float tubes.
--Live and artificial baits are permitted.
--Last year the Crappiefest Junior Anglers took home awards and prizes valued at over $3,000
--The total payout to Adult anglers was $12,605 in cash and prizes!!!!
--There will be a polygraph, so know and follow the rules - these can be found on the CAT website!

Top 10 Big Fish get a check
Top 10 Big Fish qualify for the 2015 Texas State Crappie Championship
Top 10 get vouchers for free lodging and meals in Emory
$250 cash prize for closest to 1.00, 1.25, 1.50 and 1.75 w/o going over
$2,500 for Big Fish
$1,000 for Biggest Fish caught by a CAT member
$2,000 Monster Crappie Bonus Over 3 pounds (if more than one is weighed in, the prize will be split)
$2,500 State Record Bonus
THAT'S A TOTAL OF $8,000 POSSIBLE FOR A SINGLE FISH!!!
