Howdy all,

I'm getting ready for this year's crappie spawn and was hoping I could get some advice on location. I live in east plano. Been lookin at a few spots on ray hubbard. I grew up fishing on a bass boat and can locate the fish but I'm new to kayak fishing and there's obvious limits to how far I can go from a launch site.

Lavon is better for numbers and closer to you, look at some of the north end, with the low water some scrub brush grew up around the edges of the lake and there will be lots of good water with the lake just coming up over 6 ft. There are also some prime spots near marinas that will be good with the water rising.
