What's the deal with unlicensed ATV's in state parks? Are they legal recreation vehicles or what? who_knows

I am not aware that you can use ATV's in State Parks. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't see TPWD letting people drive those around in the parks. Heck, you can't even drive them on public land hardly anymore. Only place I know that still allows them is in the National Forest near Huntsville.

The best I can tell, only the Feds; e.g.,Big Bend flag has provided access for recreational ATV's.

Anyone else have any thoughts/input?
