 Lake Fork Crappie are biting

 All of these are over 14 inches. That said, I only caught one of them. Even the bar fish and sandbass were hard to get. None of the boats at the bridge were doing very well. best I heard was three fish. Some nice man came by as I was taking out and gave me 6 of these, as he said they could not clean them at the place they were staying. My wife and I prayed for a safe trip and for me to catch some crappie. I guess the only way the good Lord could work with my fishing skills was to have someone give me some. I thanked that man often and profusely.

Heading to Fork tomorrow and plan on staying a couple of weeks. That is a little encouragement. Hope to have a report or two soon.

Hickory: When I got to Fork yesterday there was a guy taking out that had a bunch of crappie he said he caught in 2 ft of water. I could not find anything shallow where I was but he was in a fast boat and could have been anywhere.
