I'd throw a bone white jerkbait but I'm in OKlahoma so it may be a lot different

I'd start shallow. Good areas would be where grass and gravel/rock meet and where murky water meets clearer water.

Are you fishing from a boat or from the bank?

If you are fishing from the bank, I'd take three rods.

Rod #1 1/4 oz crig or heavy split shot with 10 inches between weight and hook. With the stained water from today's rains, I'd use a black/blue worm or a worm with chartreuse and/or orange in it. This will be your first search bait. Cast it out as far as you can and slowly retrieve. If you get any bites make a note of the distance from shore where the bites are happening

Rod #2 wacky rig with same colored worms. If you don't get bites on the crig/heavy split shot, use this as the next search bait and make subsequent casts 10feet past where the bites occurred and retrieve

Rod #3 if light crig and wacky aren't working shallow; I'd try throwing a copper colored or gold colored or black/chartreuse small square bill to slightly deeper areas and slowly retrieve.

I have caught most of my better bass on cloudy, misty days. I generally fish black spinnerbaits, dark colored lizards, and dark colored jigs on cloudy days. Flukes, brush hogs, etc., work well too.

Location? I'm unfortunatley at my Dr. office for a check up and the weather here is wonderful-Partly cloudy/sunny/scattered showers/75+ degrees...

If I get a chance today, I'll be in my 'hood chunkin' a wakebait in shallow vegetation/ heavy stained water. Tip:(Stained/Murky shallow water) If you think you see a Carp rooting close to the bank, throw at it: It may be a Bass...

Jig, Spinnerbait, Senko. Jigs around shallow brush and weeds. Spinnerbait around stumps, laydowns etc. Senko in shallow sand bottom pockets and bays along the grass or weed edge. 2cents

Fish coves that have feeder creeks. Low light means dark colors. Bright sun means lighter/natural colors. I would start shallow on short any bars/points that drop into the feeder creek and strain the water on that point shallow to deep. Boat would be parallel to the bank and then crisscross the point all the way to the deepest water. Lure choice would depend what cover is on the point and the depth. Then would move to the back of the cove where creek enters and work my way out following the feeder creek
