Looking for opinions vs the FX boats.

Thanks!

The way the guy told me the difference is besides compartments and hds12 instead of 9... If you fish big waters year round the fx is better but if it's medium to small waters with the occasional big water, zx is perfect

Other than the older style hull & a few bells & whistles, what are the differences between FX & ZX?

I was just surprised they were offering the pretty well equipped rig for the $ which got me to thinking maybe I needed a new one smile

Fished with a guy last weekend on Rayburn who had a new one(2 months old). He was still breaking the sho in. I asked him all kinds of questions because he got a new one every 12-18 months. This was the first ZX he has had since they started making the FX. Pm me if you would like some more info. Coach

The ZX is a great big water boat... The newer models have an updated hull and are naturally lighter weight.

I own a ZX my partner owns the FX both are very good boats. His will outrun mine tho. cry

The only thing I do not like about about the new "ZX" is the livewells. They went from two separate livewells to one big one with a divider and one pump. Other than that it's a good boat for the money and the extras.

Just traded in my zx225. The ZX250 gets on plane faster. Rides better. Finished better. Storage is better. The 250SHO is a beast. The new live well is not a problem. More storage. Better cooler. The ZX225 is a fantastic boat a work horse that preformes better than most. But the new ZX250 WOW. Im in Longview and would be happy to let you ride/ drive.

Went from a zx to an fx this year and wouldn't go back. The ride in the fx to me was a lot smoother and more stable. There is a price difference but go give Fun n Sun a chance I bet they can beat $20 k difference.
