So, i wanted to try some after dark fishing , and the place i normally launch closes at 7pm frown ( cottonwood marina )
Any suggestions for somewhere to launch in the general area? ( preferably free, but i really want to get out there )
Also , an ideal spot will have some bank fishing in the same area. My G/F currently does not have a Yak, but likes to fish.

Under the 380 bridge at Paloma/Little Elm Creek. It's wide as a river there and winds around up close to Fish Trap Rd where a lot of guys park at that hard 90 deg turn in the rd and walk to the creek. It's pretty wide open w/ good visibility at night - not snaky and tree covered like the Greenbelt.

What about Little Elm Park? Do they lock the gate at night?

Little elm park is good in the summer time. By the trees. Also my go to spot for mid spring all the way to fall is cressent oaks boat ramp. I call it oak point boat ramp. Fishing the old dam off garza is good too. Lots of great spots in our area.

You can launch at the Little Elm Park on the west side of the Eldorado Pkwy bridge. The new boat ramps is north east of the bridge. Nice boat ramps.

What about the old road bed at the end of King by the cemetery? Also the little park on Lakeshore down the street from Little elm park.

Sounds like we need to do a yak GTG

Went to crescent oaks Sunday and fished a while. Ended up with 8 fish total. None real big but they are in there. Shad is there too.
