Cody Malone reported 68 degree water this morning. So it is probably pretty close. That was on his new touch 9. I saw 65 degree yesterday afternoon but I left way before dark.

Yep I've seen females on beds since Sunday. Today they were really active.

It's time.

Great news. Figured as much. You always find 'em up on beds early and know you love looking at 'em. I am gonna hit a few places they were up early the last couple of years with that little swimbait on a jighead. That thing was deadly last spring.

Amazing how fast things change. When we were there Friday the warmest water we saw was 53.

I arrived at about 6 this afternoon and it was 62 in one of the small creeks in Mustang. Only fished for about 30 minutes and didn't get any bites. It was 52 on Sunday so the temps have really come up. Water seems to be muddier than when I left on Sunday.

My apologies, I really thought it was a joke!

It was over 80 degrees out here today. Felt great being outside. Wife and I walked down to the dock earlier and its nice to see all the surface activity and seeing the lake wake up.
