Anyone been fishing Caddo lately? Any updates on water or fishing reports to pass along?

Theres a bunch of water every where up there right now. As of yesterday, I don't think there is any where put in at. I heard some tried to put in at Tuckers.

Caddo and Sabine flooding

Flood warning

I drove there Friday and all the ramps that I seen were closed. Hwy 43, Crips and Johnson were all flooded...

Fishing much less launching a boat is waste of time. Lake is idle only. Every dock is under water pretty much. Most ramps u can't even c them. Lake crested today but Pines opened the gates so Caddo has a lot more water coming into it. Suppose get couple more inches by Saturday also. I did c the Owner Of Johnsons Ranch mention it was 6 weeks before lake was normal again when water was this high. I do know of few bites out there. Would I waste my time driving to it...... Heck No! Wait till it gets better

dang. If i'm going to go fish a lake for a few days soon i guess i should count Caddo out? I loved fishing that lake the one time i've gone there. Fork is always so crowded but i guess odds would be better there uh? i read earlier water temperatures there have really jumped and mommas are on the beds.

Spent a week on the water, fishing was slowest I had ever seen. Did have friends catching some nice ones, on Thursday and Friday saw a 7, 8, and a 9 caught. But the nicest was a 11 caught Fridat by a good friend, all on worm or senko's. I was only lucky to catch lots and one over at 5.5, vacationing at the best lake inTexas!

Water level was down and falling still when I left, salvia was bad in some areas and made them unfishable. Also saw folks bringing in blue cats from trout lines, biggest one was 30 lbs.

Paul Keith finally got on them yesterday. He had 24 with close 30lbs but also said lake was on rise again cause of Pines. Should get better from here on out
