When the cats away, the mice will play. The bass on Lake Fork have decided not to play so we decided to tackle the monsters on another near by lake to Fork. David Hanson and I tackled Lake X with a fervor and it was rewarded in spades. We boated 17 world class bass with the best five tipping the scales just short of 41 pounds. The chatterbait issued most of the pain to the green fish and a few came on a Senko. Mixed in with the fun was an educational base constructed to help David tune his techniques and make him a better angler for the long run. The chatterbait had to be worked a certain way to trigger the strikes and David worked throughout the day to perfect the sensitive technique. At the end of the day, the work paid off and he landed some quality bass. He was a great student and I would love to fish with him anytime. As a matter of fact, we will tackle it again in June. Can't wait. There were so many excellent pic's of these pigs but I felt I couldn't post then all. Here are a few to show what a blast we had.
