Anybody catch any on Fork Sunday? Man I have not taken a beating like that it in awhile. But I have been fishing Squaw a lot too! Had one bite all day between me and my partner. Water was colder in the coves than it was on the main lake, that was weird.

Didn't fish Sunday, but did on Saturday and it was tough (the guys we did speak with sd Friday was even tougher), had one fish first thing Saturday in the morning on a drop shot, but I think I was fishing to deep, main lake points in 6-10 ft of water, and secondary points. I heard they were doing better in the backs of the creeks in 2-3 feet, but we tried a couple of creeks in the backs in the dirty water with chatterbaits and jigs, and had nothing to show for the effort.

No bites on Fork for me, main lake was warming 53-54, larger coves, yes a little cooler, but near the backs of creeks, I was hitting 58-60 degrees of chocolate milk.

I fished Fork for the first time last Wednesday/Thursday. Fished hard for 2 days. 1/2 day of which was with a guide. We boated 7 fish in two days. Biggest being just shy of 4lbs. As far as I can remember it was the toughest fishing I've ever encountered. Chocolate milk creeks, and water temps ranging from 46-53 at the afternoon peek. We threw everything but the kitchen sink. The few fish we did boat came on texas rigged worms or very small swim baits. All the fish came from < 3 feet of water. The fishing was so bad we left a day early to head south for some warmer water. Turned out to be a good call as we boated quite a few more fish up 7lbs. I'm not going to give up on Fork after one go, but for a first trip was humbling to say the least.

Not just you! Tough all around.. we fished Creek Channels/bends, main lake points/pockets, up shallow, backed off, threw everything in the boat. One bite. Found muddy/warm(ish) water in Mustang, little mustang, and Williams.. Found Clearer/Colder water in White Oak, little Caney, wolf. Was just tough all around.

Fork gave me a beat down too. Fished Saturday and Sunday with nothing to show for my efforts. Sure made for a long drive home.

The Magee area is where I usually fish this time of the year. I went into Glade, Running Creek and Long Branch instead. No bites until we got into Long Branch. 4 bites- landed two 4's, jumped a better one off at the boat on a spinnerbait and my son got broken off. Shredded the 17 lb FC Sniper like thread. Other than that it was tough. This warm week will kick start it for sure.

We boated 9 and had 13 fish on. It was slow but when you found them they were bunched up. All shallow 2-5 ft.
