Has anyone been fishing the Goose Island - Copano Bay Pier Area? I am going there this weekend and will bring back a report. Dose anyone have any tips for fishing this area? Thanks in advance!

Fishing is fun and adictive, but always stay safe. Happy Fishing!

Hope you do well! I will be there next Tuesday so I am looking forward to your report. We will be staying at a house with a private pier fairly close to Copano pier. From what I have seen lately the big ugly's are biting in that area. Good Luck!

Might try the Goose Island pier for Trout, at night. Done OK there before.

Tide levels are up with spring Gulf tides starting to dominate and with the rain we've had it's a good mix to turn on the fishing.

We'll start seeing water temps rising significantly soon, and then it will be "on".

With the coastal bend finally getting some decent rain this winter, that will make those back bay wade fishing spots even more productive with their estuaries full of water and bait.

Glad to hear y'all are finally getting rain down there. Last few times we were down there it was terrible dry. Hope the water temps get right this week. We will be there tomorrow afternoon and stay a few days.
