Pulling the boat down to the coast the first full week of April. Is Port A worth the extra 2.5 hour drive? Any advice on either area would be appreciated. Will be fishing for redfish and trout. Dad wants to try for shark too.

I fish port A and I think its worth it but I havent fished Galveston in a while. I have a friend who fishes there off the jetties. He does pretty good on the redfish.Coming from the metro mess I don't want to drive through houston. haha
