Thinking about going to Joe Pool. We've never fished it before; Would appreciate any information on what parts of the lake this time of the year are good for sand bass? We appreciate any info.

Don't know why someone hasn't chimed in. I have never fished it before, but someone on here said a couple of weeks ago that he caught some sand bass down by the dam. Come on guys, help a fisher person out!

Was out Thursday bass fishing when we loaded the boat some guys were cleaning a nice mess of big sand bass, they told me they caught them down at the bridge in 25; of water. The creek runs on the south side though the bridge and about 40 yards west there is a hump the creek goes though.
