It has begun. Every single creek has fish in it now. I even have 3 more new ones we will be guiding from.

I have added and trained a new guide who I will be announced soon. With the Striper at Texoma, Sandies in the creeks, and Crappie spawning in 2-3 ft of water, I am swamped. Same rule applies with the New Guide, No Fish- No Charge!

A classic video.

Reports, tips, tricks, and vids for the new year coming soon.

If you want to learn how to catch these hard fighting fish, and be able to do it all on your own, call, text, email me to set up a trip. Best way and fastest way to request a date, is on my booking page of my website listed in a link below.

Should be a great year. Fish we are catching now are giant Magnum females 15-17 inches!

We are 70% booked now, so don't think about hiring us to long, or it will be to late. I might have to hire another guide for next year as well.

Stay tuned for reports, tips, and tricks!

Glad to hear there's water in the creeks up there. That pic is priceless by the way.

Crazy good year this year! Had a couple slow morning but picked up in the afternoons for a limit. This year, all the creeks have Sandies! And even better, one already has Hybrids! One has Crappie loaded! And a part of the Trinity River has hybrids crappie and Sandies mixed bag! Even White Rock Creek is having a small run. Fish are 8-11 inches in White Rock.

Barometric air pressure article I wrote:

To help me out with trips this year due to too much overflow, I have hired and trained Nick Henderson aka- McKinneyCrappieCatcher.

I met Nick over six or seven years ago when his dad hired me to take him fishing for these hard fighting silver fish. Every year Nick would be somewhere around my area catching just ust as many fish as I was. He is also a very skilled flyfisherman who also chases brown trout and rainbow trout up in Broken Bow, at the Lower Mt Fork a river. He actually taught me how to find the walleye up there in the river, and how to fish a certain honey hole for massive browns, magnum sand bass, and 20 plus inch Walleye. I trust him so much, I will also have him taking over flow white bass and Crappie trips on Lake Lavon. He has all my GPS Locations on the lake and knows all my secret holes in the creeks. He has picked up on my techniques and is almost a mirror image of me fishing. He's already pulling limits easily. Glad to have you on the team. Probably going to add a second guide next year!

I will be having a seminar within the next two weeks on how to catch white bass in the creeks. I will announce it as soon as I can find out when I have time to go to Bass Pro Shop and conduct it.

You were allowed to keep 25 white bass per person. They must be on separate stringers. On these trips you must bring a cooler to transport your fish home. We are not allowed to clean fish in a preserve. So whatever you put on your stringer, unfortunately you will have to take back to your home residence and clean there. If you go on your own, do not clean them in a parking lot or you will be ticketed.

Game Warden Darron Lewisville Lake: (940) 781-5222 Lake Lewisville and Trinity River tributaries

Game Warden Martin: (214) 886-4074 Lake Ray Hubbard tributaries

If you have any issues or see gillnetters or people keeping way more than the limit please call one of the above wardens or you can even text them if you see some kind of illegal activities. Cast netting is "legal" at the creek for bait such as minnows and bluegills, carp, buffalo may be kept as well. Game fish such as white bass, black bass, hybrids, catfish, crappie, are all illegal to keep if caught in a cast net.

There are no fish in any of the creeks near me, best to let me pick trash up at the creeks till next year or give Carey a call.

A couple from today, caught 9 and missed 3 in less than an hour; had to go to work.

Nick , my new guide, is killing them today.

Minnows in the dark muddy water. Then the lure bite picked as the water cleared up a small tad. It's about as good as it gets.

I took a break from Striper tomorrow. If you want a trip with me, personally, tomorrow- Monday is your chance. First one to text me will be granted the spot. We meet at 645 am and fish till we limit. $175 for two peeps.
