Does anyone have any reviews on these yet? I was looking at buying a couple of them, but I was curious if anyone had any opinions on them? Thanks.

Tackle Tour has a write up on them. Kinda general. And not Rod model specific. But they look promising. Especially for the money.

Very nice rods for the price. I got a chance to fish the prototypes last year and they hadn't told us a price tag at the time. I thought they fished like a much more expensive rod. I can live with the aluminum oxide guides at that price point if the tradeoff is a more sensitive blank and an American made rod.

if they are good, it's about time G Loomis put out something decent (vs. the competition) at this price point.

Agree, love his rods and have been fishing the GL3's and IMX's since the late 1990's, however its getting a little ridiculous for fishermen to afford having 5 or 6 of them! Once you OWN a G-Loomis you are hooked!

Opposite for me. I tried a couple GLX rods, and if "that's it", I can stick to cheaper rods and be just as happy with more options in cheaper stuff.

I fished them for 2.5 days straight and dug them. Are they an IMX or NRX? No, but what is? E6X are built on the same eqpt and have the same actions as IMX and NRX, just the material isn't the same -- which is why they're less than 2 bills. Here's a little more I wrote on the rods when they first came out -- full disclosure: Loomis supports my BassBlaster so add as much salt as you want to what I'm saying. http://bassblaster.bassgold.com/new-g-loomis-e6x-rods-under-2-bills
