Finally got my boat all rigged up and ready to go for her maiden voyage. its nothing special, just a 14' flat bottom, with Honda tiller outboard.

Probably launching at the 751 bridge and taking the wife with. Would really like to get into some sandbass action.

Can anyone provide tips or general location/depth? I have my fishfinder installed....

of course, i'll have some Stubby's on standby if we cant find anything else.

Any info or tips would be much appreciated.

The lake is on the rise. I fished two days this week on Tawakoni with poor luck for sandies. I would try the creeks flowing into the lake. The creeks on Hubbard are full of spawning fish. It is the time for whites to spawn. Good luck. Let us know how you make out. Hybrids should be there too.

How did you do on the catching?

Did alot of fishin . Not a whole of catching. Only a couple. Gonna try again in the morning. See if the crappie want to act right! It can't be me, it has to be the fish
