People who get there late and fish right next to you? I normally don't get my hackles up about stuff like this, but today I'm fishing the bridge at Naconiche and I'm trolling around from pole to pole picking up fish. There are only 4 sets of them (only 2 in deep water). I'm on one and a couple guys come an tie up to the other one. Slightly annoying, because they took over one of the 2 fishable sets, but no biggie. All the sudden a guy comes in on plane and noses up to the set I'm fishing and ties up. Wth? He had his wife and kids with him, so I didn't say anything about it. With a bridge that small, I feel like you should keep trolling and poking around the outsides in circles so more than one person can fish a set. NOT pull your boat in between the two and tie up so no one can fish at all. Sorry. Had to vent.

Didn't you know better than to be fishn in "their spots".....Hehehehahahahaaaaaa JK Welcome to my world....even worse when you have a turd folla ya to several "spots"....makes ya wanna  I've come to realize that the ones that fish like this are almost no threat other than just being in the way, they will rarely catch any decent fish....

Sad thing but its gettin worse and looks to be the way of the future.Looks like we'll just have to fall in with em or get left behind.Gotten to where you cant even get there eatly enough.

I have yet to catch a crappie under that bridge. Lots of bass but no crappie.

I would not have a problem with someone tying up to the posts I'm not fishing, but tying up to a pair of posts I'm fishing...yea...this might not end well. No reason for that.

I agree it is frustrating. I was taught by my grandfather that you never fish within casting distance of another boat. Unless that boat comes in on you, then you cast and tangle their lines every cast.  But with the guy's children there that would be impossible to do and keep your own self respect.  But in November 2012 I was trolling between two markers I had set out marking a brush pile and a guy pulled up and dropped his anchor right on top of one of my markers. Now these markers have not been painted black so I know he could see them plus he watched me trolling back and forth several times before he pulled over and took the spot while I was turning the boat to troll back again. I pulled up and asked if me would mind me picking up my marker since he just took my fishing spot. He replied it was his spot, he was planning to fish it next when I started fishing it. Then he told me he would pull my marker up and toss it to me as he did not want my pontoon scratching the gel coat of his boat. And he was old enough to know better.

I've had the same issues in the same spot..very annoying...can't beat em join em..pitch a jig and bounce it off the side their boat and jerk a couple out from under em then just smile and troll on. Lol
