What would you do if you have a known spawning area for bass and when start fishing the carp are raising cane in the grass would you leave or back off?

Idk but I caught a 15 lb carp on a chatterbait earlier this week. Then yesterday I was in an area with fish breaking the surface everywhere around me, after a couple of minutes I noticed it was all carp! Tons of them.

this would explain the big carp around the reeds at worth yesterday....Thought they were bass:(

If caught several bass close to where carp are thrashing around.

I would leave... I wasted a whole day last year on cedar creek trying to fish beds with carp all around them. Bass were no where to be found

I always thought the carp spawned after the large mouth
