and getting better. Went to Benbrook again today to see if any whites moved into the creek. They haven't, but got in some good work with casting, adding tippet and tying knots. I still catch myself breaking my wrist some and when I correct it it's amazing on how much better the cast is. Had a LMB on for a second but didn't get the hook set, maybe I need to work on that as well. Definitely a whole different feel than conventional gear.

Yea for sure on feel. I mainly fish bass conventional still. You don't get that tick that you get on on a rod you have a finger on the blank. It takes some getting used to. Most of the time with bass on the fly I am waiting on the rod to load a little before I cross the eyes. Unless fishing top water I treat I just like a worm and let the engulf and turn first. Good luck

What creek on Benbrook has enough water for the whites to run if you don't mind me asking?

Clear fork wa running good with the melt. Bear creek is all but close of private. But the mouth at the park has water. Drove past Denton and Henrietta Creek the other day above grapevine they were running good should be good at 377 this year as well.

Just don't make a mistake and go when they have the mud run on St. Patrick's Day LOL the creek looks like chocolate milk from all the people running through it pretty nice scenery some of it though.
