I need opions on legend boats. I know nothing about them, but found one I may be interested in and am curious as to anybody that has one, how do you like it?
Thanks, Don.
Don Chumley If I ain't fishing, I ain't happy. But mostly I'm happy. I love being retired, the check is in the mail. Mt. 6:33

Not sure what model you are looking at but I have a 2013 211R. Before this I ran two tritons and when I got ready to look at a change actually didn't consider a legend but after looking one over really closely at one of the boat shows I went with the legend for a couple of reasons - I liked that it was finished out better. Inside of all the storage is carpeted with led lights, all the various screws in rub rails, consoles etc were tight. On the triton brand new there were several that were stripped out. On both my tritons the plastic console cracked - the legend console is all fiberglass so much more solid. The normal complaint you hear is that the front deck is narrower than other brands but it hasn't been any issue for me, ride and handling are great if I ever buy another new boat Legend would be my first choice. But to be fair the only drawback I have had is the fuel tank is sitting right in the middle of the back hatch so it makes it tight to work on things.

I just purchased a demo 2013 alpha 211R in January and I am really satisfied with the fishability and ride of this boat. I was running a Champion prior to that. Most of my friends either have them or are looking at them. I have had no regrets at awitching at all.

Been fishing in one for the last 5 years with one of Billy's prostaffers. The boats take rough water like no other I've ridden in,,,DRY!! We are going to Fork in his new V20 on Sunday His 2013 Alpha 211 is at Sartin Marine for sale. You will not find a better used boat to buy than his as it washed and wiped and covered EVERYTIME!!

I have a 2005 le 21 that the transom needed replacing. I took it back to the legend factory in Arkansas. They told me before I drove 8 hours that it would be three to four weeks. They kept it ten weeks. When I picked it up I was told in a round about way that it longer than promised because techs kept getting pulled off repairing my boat to work on other big named peoples boats. I think everyone should be treated equally. Should have been first in first out but it wasn't. My next boat will not be a legend. Customer service will be my next main concern. Just my two cents.

Very odd... Never had or even heard of a complaint from Legends customer service... It's second to none for me!

I also have alpha 211r 2013. Great boat! Rides like a caddy! My friend owns a skeeter states Legend will be his next boat after riding with me. Go for it.

Seeing your in nacadoches. Dunno if possible but maybe try to get in touch with Todd Casteldine. He is a member of the legend pro team so maybe you can get a test ride from him? don't know if possible or being I don't know the guy. just an idea.
